Studio 33 Art and Frame Gallery was started as a frame shop in New London in the 1940′ s. Back then it operated under the name Costello’s. From there it evolved to La Presle’s in the 50′s, Peter’s from ’69-’78 and then became Studio 33 in 1979. It has moved several times throughout it’s life as a New London fixture, and as of November 2008 resides at 140 Bank Street.
